All of the locations are different, contact your local organizer if you need more info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is a game jam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A game jam brings together all types of game developers, amateurs, professionals and students to innovate new games in a single weekend or a similar short time span. Typically participants work in small teams, racing to produce as complete a game as possible with limited time and resources, but unlimited creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finnishgamejam.com\/fgjx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2013-01-25-21.12.14-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-283\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finnishgamejam.com\/fgjx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2015-01-23-20.37.24-1-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-290\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is Global Game Jam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/globalgamejam.org\/\">Global Game Jam (GGJ)<\/a>&nbsp;is&nbsp;the world\u2019s largest game jam event taking place around the world at physical locations in every January. In 2017, jammers in 700 locations in 95 countries created&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/globalgamejam.org\/2017\/games\">over 7000 games<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finnishgamejam.com\/fgjx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2013-04-30-20.22.19-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-285\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.finnishgamejam.com\/fgjx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2013-04-30-20.10.58-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-286\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is Finnish Game Jam and #FGJ20?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/finnishgamejam.com\/\">Finnish Game Jam <g class=\"gr_ gr_16 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling\" id=\"16\" data-gr-id=\"16\">ry<\/g> (FGJ)<\/a>&nbsp;is a registered association founded to organize game jam events in Finland. Our main event is our&nbsp;annual game development event, which is part of the Global Game Jam (GGJ). This year\u2019s event is called #FGJ20, and comprises of several game jam locations organized all around Finland.
