Finnish Game Jam (FGJ) is a part of the Global Game Jam, a collaboration between several Finnish jamming sites. The event is organized by Finnish Game Jam ry and by many volunteers and organizations. Game design students, hobbyist, and professional developers all alike are welcome to take part in our national events. The platform, technology and the format of the games are decided by the participants – it can be anything from digital game to board game, from mobile game to experimental pervasive game.
Finland has participated in the Global Game Jam since 2010, and the next event takes place on 24th–26th of January 2014.
